What do you do when it is over?

Matt Rexroad | Bio

I can’t be the only one t think it is over for Mayor Fargo.

In Placer County, Fire Protection is a huge issue.

In Sacramento, Yolo and San Joaquin - you breathe the results of Sierra Club lawsuits to stop clearing / thinning of forests.

Senator Aanestad, a fantastic representative of the North State lights the Sierra Club on fire over Fire Protection.

Aaron F. Park's avatar

This just hasn’t been a good week for Ol’ Charlie Brown - I call him Colonel Klink

It would be a shame don’t you think to see Colonel Klink actually take a stand on issues
Because if perchance, he actually took a stance, his supporters would reach for tissues

McClintock’s former nemesis, Doug Ose - lit Charlie Brown on Fire, so did a Vets group… OUCH! I think Charlie got “Kerridged”.

Jim McCauley, the Placer County Clerk-Recorder said in 30 years of elections experience he has never seen anything like this.

Imagine my surprise when a process server walks in my door - minutes after a San Francisco law firm calls looking for a fax number to my office.

Of Course, the Auburn Journal was asleep at the switch.

Aaron F. Park's avatar

Readers - I drop by occasionally and cross post my work on the Placer CRA Blog.

This is a trifecta - Charlie struggling in a radio interview

A Brown supporter sent a letter to the AG’s office over Per Diem that was returned to sender (IT’S LEGAL, QUIT WHINING)

Charlie Brown challenged to take no new taxes pledge after chiding Tom McClintock over state budget.

What qualifies Montgomery to be a supervisor other than the fact that she hugs trees, crashes fire protection summits with the sierra club and sent a whole bunch of letters to the editor in the past?

Have you figured it out yet?

Me either - and she has some real winners in her corner, too…

Aaron F. Park's avatar

Moi? I am honored…

Aaron F. Park's avatar

As you are aware - I have been all over the Auburn Journal for absurdly biased reporting.

On a smaller scale than the Sacramento Bee, that paper has been an outlet for one man’s political agenda.

Now we know why he editorialized against three strikes and why his paper took up the case of a pot farmer convicted of a felony. In addition, the paper seems to do a horrid job of reporting on crime in general.

Three cities are on the move to fix Highway 99.

Who’s to blame? We’ll the entire Sacramento City Council, that’s who. Sacramento should follow New York City’s Example of Zero Tolerance with event-disrupting morons.

Raw and unedited - straight from the man himself.

Aaron F. Park's avatar

Yup. Charlie Brown wants to go to Congress to serve as another vote for Pelosi for speaker. He has a problem - she is singlehandedly screwing the little guy. You know, the vaunted little guy that the Democrats are supposed to be all about…

Charlie is spinning with excuses for why we can’t drill for Oil to help relieve high gas prices.

Meantime - check out the list of bills that Pelosi is killing - all the Brown camp does is offer more excuses.

Aaron F. Park's avatar

The Charlie Brown team has been obsessed with comments made regarding Cuba leasing land to the Chinese (amongst others) to drill.

The Brown team is getting pounded over their adoption of Pelosi’s energy plan. They know that their electoral chances hinge on the energy issue.

They are left to carp over Tom McClintock talking about China drilling for our Oil in Cuba. (remember Cuba is 90 miles away from Florida)

Could the Kings Beach Traffic Issue be the deal maker in the Placer 5th Sup Race?

Aaron F. Park's avatar

Bill Martin - the Godfather of Save Sierra College posted a rant masquerading as a mission statement for how he thinks Sierra College should be run.

It includes a thesis for deficit spending! But wait, there’s more!

Four years ago, the college had just suffered through three straight budget deficits totaling $850,000. As a result, they had cut hundreds of course sections, and slashed library hours, student tutoring and labs. Change was in order - (By the way, that viewpoint was endorsed by former Auburn Mayor Cheryl Maki in 2004…but she disagreed with the leadership change at the college and has changed her opinion now.)

Aaron F. Park's avatar

It is true - Save Sierra College has endorsed someone who has been suspended from the Bar association for misappropriating $50,000+ of client’s trust funds

Aaron F. Park's avatar

This is a major development - Brown’s internet team signaled a major shift in Brown’s Energy Plan. Apparently, the scrutiny Brown has been facing is more than he can handle.

Aaron F. Park's avatar

This is a compilation of mounting news and evidence that Democrat arguments against drilling are taking them down at the polls.

The second article is from the Washington Post - unbelievable.
